This is an invocation and prayer to Lord Ganesha to seek his diving blessing for an uninterrupted and successful completion of the wedding. A Sumangali relative who has both parents and In-laws alive, is invited to start the auspicious works for the wedding by doing a Ganesha from flour and puja of the implements which will be used for wedding related preparations. From this day all the preparations for the wedding will begin.
